HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

I wanted to take this opportunity among all the hustle and bustle of the holidays to wish each and everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and the Happiest of New Years. May you be surrounded by the love and laughter of friends and family during this holiday season.

We are truly thankful here at the Drake’s Nest Studios in that our son surprised us with a visit from Maryland. He drove through a blizzard, two bad accident scenes outside of Ohio, an overnight stay in Ohio to get home to us in Michigan. When he told me of the conditions that he drove through, I was truly thankful for his safe arrival home. Unfortunately his stay is a short one, he leaves either Christmas day or bright and early the following morning as he must beĀ back in Maryland by the 30th to start production of a play at Bowie State University. For us, his unexpected visit was truly a wonderful present and one that we will always remember and cherish.

I will be having surgery on my left arm on the 30th so will be unable to post for a while, at least until the arm is out of the splint. But promise to post as soon as I can and plan on some interesting things for the new year, like contests and swaps and hope to have some books up on the website to swap out for fabric. So please check back to see what is new on the blog and on the webpage.

May each and every one of you be found enjoying all the very best that life has to offer in the coming New Year.

Best Wishes and Happy Holidays,

Terri at the Drake’s Nest in snowy Ossineke, MI

Terri, Thank You so very much for the warm wishes and may I say that I wish to return the same wishes to you. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. I wish for you also a very safe and speedy recovery after your surgery. Take care and God bless you and yours.

    • Thank you Gayle for the holiday wishes and those for a speedy recovery. The surgery shouldn’t be too bad, just will be painful where it’s located and take a while to heal. Will be back in the saddle again in no time.

Merry Christmas, Terri – how lovely to have your son home for Christmas! So glad he arrived safe!
