What I’ve been working on!

I just recently participated in a swap on Connecting Threads called the Great Aussie Swap where we did oversized postcards, 8×12. The PC had to have something to do with Australia and once completed sent to a swap partner. That person did not necessarily have your name, which made it all the more interesting. I chose to do a Jarhead Owlet peeking out of its nest inside a tree. It was hand drawn, hand painted with InkTense pencils/sticks and embellished with feathers from a Winedott (I think that’s how it’s spelt) chicken since the feathers in the picture had some dots on it.

The feathers I thought added a nice touch. This next picture is the PC that I received from my swap partner, Charlotte Gustavson, and I think she did a marvelous job. A delightful take, Australian style, on the Bremham Town Musicians.

The back is just as adorable! Don’t you think so? If you ever invited to take part in a swap, do so. You will be challenged to think outside the box and you might be pleasantly surprised at not only what you can do, but what you can receive as well.

Have a great day everyone and Blessings your way!
