Merry Christmas!

During this busy time, it is important that we remember to connect with family and friends. Whether it be by sending a card, writing a letter, making a phone call or doing a visit in person, we need to stay connected. Family is everything and should never be forgotten. I know how hard it can be at times to connect with those who have hurt you or who no longer wish to be a part of your life; however, we should all make the effort so that we know in our hearts we tried and therefore have no regrets.

I speak from experience on that point and have tried best to bridge gaps with family members. Some I have succeeded in rekindling our ties, others have made it clear that they wish to be left alone and I have to honor that request regardless of how hard it can be to honor those wishes.

I want to wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year. May 2017 find each and everyone of you enjoying all the very best that life has to offer. Remember that Christmas isn’t the only time of year to spread love, peace and joy. We should do so every day of the year and help those who need it. By doing so, we may be able to help bring peace in this angry world of ours and we can do it one person at a time. If someone does something kind and unexpected to you, repay the kindness by paying it forward and doing something for someone else. It is amazing how fast this can multiply.

God’s blessings on you all and, again, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
